Little O is 3 months old today! And today I also received the London Marathon 2017 email confirming my entry (deferred from April 2016 as I had just given birth).
So this was a sign I had to start blogging again! These first 3 months have been busy getting to know the little man and getting our feet in the parenting business, but things are falling into place. Until there is a regression… from what I’ve heard, when you think you’ve got it all figured out, a new development leap starts and sleeping and feeding patterns go all over the place. Well until then, let’s get writing when he is napping 🙂
I slowly got back into running 5 weeks ago (after my 6 weeks GP appointment, when little O was actually 8 weeks). But more on that in the next post.
I’ve just been trying to go online pay the entry fee for VLM 2017 but the website seems to be having issues. I just need to remember to try again later and not miss out on my place!! That happened recently: after volunteering for the Osterley 10K back in December, I had a free place in the Summer Osterley 10K which is happening on the 11th of June. When I checked whether I had my place confirmed, I realised that I had never been online to fill in the form before the deadline! :,-( Ah well, 10K may have been a bit too much for now.
My next goal though is the Ealing Half Marathon on the 25th of September.
And you, sporty mums out there, what were your goals post pregnancy and how soon did you enter a race?
